~ ABOUT ~
Our main goal at
BrackkenRoar is to breed large, healthy and adorable kittens
and
in an effort to do this we limit the number of litters for
our queens giving the
new kittens undivided care and attention so
they are able to fully develop to their best
potential.
I am from a rural background and
have had a lot to do with animals of all kinds since I was a
youngster.
From a childhood in the country where animals of all
kinds were part of everyday life it
is not surprising that I
ended up engaged in this activity.
We always had our pet moggies
that were ever present in the house scrounging for titbits of
food.
In those days our cats were hunters and what they caught
for themselves was the mainstay of their diets.
No money to be
spent on Eukanubas or Iams or suchlike!
I was fortunate in more
recent years to have been involved with breeding at
a more
intimate level and decided to continue along the path of creating
BrackkenRoar.....
A few alterations to previous breeding
practices were implimented and to date,
with help from a plethora of people I set about
building from scratch.
You don't have to be "Royalty" to own one of our
kittens....you don't have to contain them indoors,
you don't have
to build a big flash fancy cathouse and you sure don't need to own a
palace....
our kittens are loveable pets and friends
...not status symbols!
Yes we have unwritten rules in regards to the
sale of our kittens BUT
we do not "play god" nor do we judge a
purchaser by
their
looks, colour, race, political preferences or bank accounts
